KuCoin to Hold Trading Competition With $1 Million Prize Pool

The trading contest KuCoin Futures Global Team Battle is timed to coincide with more than 20 million registered users on the platform.

Traders will be able to win up to $20 000, participate in airdrops, receive exclusive bonuses and other rewards. The exchange will publish the prize list and the detailed contest rules by the end of July.

KuCoin CEO Johnny Lu explained that the user base is growing thanks to a globalization strategy, the introduction of new languages in the platform interface, and the launch of trading pairs to fiat euros and the Brazilian real.

In the first half of 2022, KuCoin attracted 9.75 million people, of which 5.6 million were from Asian countries.

“KuCoin is growing rapidly because the community supports us and trusts the platform regardless of market conditions. As a token of our gratitude we will provide users with more innovative products and services related to NFT, GameFi and Web3,” said Johnny Lu.

KuCoin is a Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange offering spot, margin and P2P trading for 700 assets.

The platform is developing its own ecosystem: the KuCoin Community Chain blockchain with the native token KCS, the KuCoin Wallet, the Windvane NFT marketplace and a range of DeFi applications.

Earlier, KuCoin CEO Johnny Lu denied rumors of employee layoffs.
