Kyiv Residents Suspected of Illegal Cryptocurrency Exchange

The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office announced suspicions against two organizers of an online cryptocurrency exchange operating with payment systems unregistered in Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the 23-year-old individuals have been exchanging hryvnia for various cryptocurrencies and electronic money from sanctioned services since 2024, including those located in Russia.

The transactions were conducted using bank cards registered to fictitious individuals.

The investigation into the improper use of electronic money continues.
