Ledger and Exodus to Launch Cryptocurrency Swap Aggregator
Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger and digital asset storage technology provider Exodus have agreed to create a swap aggregator named XO Swap, according to The Block.
The feature will be integrated into the Ledger Live application. It will facilitate connections to third-party exchanges via API, allowing the exchange of “thousands of cryptocurrency pairs” within hardware wallets.
“The integration prioritizes user control and security, setting it apart from CEX,” the press release states.
Initially, the service will launch for desktops, with a mobile version expected later.
Earlier, fintech company Revolut and Ledger agreed to integrate the Revolut Ramp purchase service into the Ledger Live application.
Back in July, the hardware wallet manufacturer unveiled a new device, Flex, at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, USA.
