Ledger Unveils New Hardware Wallet Flex

Hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has introduced its new device, the Ledger Flex, at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, USA.

The Ledger Flex is equipped with NFC and an E Ink touchscreen. The company stated that they have taken into account all feedback regarding the complexity of previous models and have introduced an intuitive device. It will continue the Stax line.

The Flex is available for purchase at €249 in two colors. Shipments will begin on July 31.

According to the press release, Ledger, founded in 2014, has sold over 6 million hardware wallets, covering more than 20% of digital assets.

“After a decade of setting security and self-custody standards in cryptocurrencies and digital assets, I am proud to say we are raising the bar again,” said The Block CEO Ledger Pascal Gauthier.

In June, hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor introduced its new flagship Safe 5, including a Bitcoin-only version. It received an EAL 6+ certification.

In July, hardware wallet manufacturer Tangem released a non-custodial crypto wallet in the form of the Tangem Ring.
