Liberland Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary

From April 11 to 13, a conference was held to mark the tenth anniversary of the self-proclaimed microstate of Liberland. Among the speakers was its Prime Minister and TRON leader Justin Sun, reports Bitcoin.com.

The event took place in the village of Liberland Ark in Apatin, Serbia.

In his address, the TRON leader discussed how decentralized technologies are transforming global economic systems, expanding access to finance, and shaping the future of digital assets.

Sun also revealed details of the latest developments in the TRON ecosystem, including the USDD 2.0 update, a new Gas Free feature in stablecoins, and the work of the T3 Financial Crime Unit alliance with Tether and TRM Labs.

Founded on the principles of personal and economic freedom, the microstate is engaged in promoting innovation and implementing blockchain technology.

Liberland is an unrecognized territory between Croatia and Serbia, covering an area of six square kilometers.

The microstate was founded in 2015 by Czech citizen Vit Jedlička, who was later elected its first president.

Back in October 2024, Sun was appointed as Prime Minister of Liberland.
