Litecoin signs partnership with Rubic to speed up and anonymise transactions
The cross-chain swap aggregator Rubic announced a partnership with the nonprofit Litecoin Foundation. According to a press release provided to ForkLog.
The initiative aims to speed up, anonymise and enhance the security of transactions for Litecoin users.
“Rubic’s cutting-edge technology and its drive for functional interoperability fit perfectly into Litecoin’s fast, scalable and secure blockchain ecosystem,” said David Schwartz, Director of Strategic Partnerships.
According to the press release, Rubic is connected to more than 60 leading blockchains, 90 decentralised exchanges and bridges, enabling trading of at least 15,500 digital assets with the most favourable rates and high liquidity.
In November 2022, Rubic lost more than $1.2 million after a hacker gained access to the seed phrase of the administrator’s wallet.
In February 2023, the Litecoin network launched an Ordinals-like protocol, which allowed users to inscribe various objects in the form of images, text, video and in other formats.
