Madonna and Beeple Create NFT Featuring a ‘Birth-Giving’ Singer

Singer Madonna and artist Mike Winkelmann, known as Beeple, announced the creation of joint NFT videos.

The collection, titled Mother of Creation, consists of three videos: ‘Mother Nature’, ‘Mother of Evolution’ and ‘Mother of Technology’. In them, Madonna’s digital likeness ‘gives birth to’ butterflies, plants and multi-legged robots. All three works are modelled on the basis of 3D scans of the singer.

The triptych was created with support from the MoonPay service.

The auction opens on May 11 on the SuperRare marketplace. All proceeds will be donated to charities assisting women and children.

Earlier in March, Madonna purchased an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection for 180 ETH.
