Majority of Top TRUMP Token Holders Reside Outside the US, Reports Suggest

Among the potential attendees of an exclusive gala dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump—comprising the 25 largest holders of TRUMP—most are not residents of the country. This conclusion was reached by Bloomberg.

According to the analysis, 19 out of the 25 TRUMP whales with the largest token reserves registered on the site used exchanges unavailable to Americans. The same applies to 56% of the 220 largest holders. Presumed foreigners control 76% of the total token value held by these users.

Experts identified Binance, Bybit, and OKX as the most popular platforms among top TRUMP whales. All three did not offer services to American users at the time of data collection. In April, OKX announced its return to the US market, but six holders mentioned in the analysis acquired tokens before the exchange updated its terms.

Experts suggest that US residents might have used foreign platforms despite restrictions, employing tools like VPNs.

Gala dinner attendees will undergo additional checks before the event, including a KYC procedure for the TRUMP wallet.

Earlier, the US Senate Committee on Investigations announced it will examine Trump’s crypto initiatives for potential conflicts of interest.
