The Mantle team has initiated the second phase of the Yapperboard Challenge, running from May 6 to June 4, 2025. The 50 most active content creators will share a prize pool of 50,000 MNT (~$40,000), according to the project’s blog.
The total prize pool for all three phases of the competition is 150,000 MNT. Participants are required to publish original content about the Mantle project.
“We will limit rewards for low-quality AI content — such as bot spam or meaningless template posts and images. Our goal is to encourage the most creative and substantive participants. We believe AI is a tool for creativity, but it cannot replace genuine ideas and personal experience,” the Mantle team emphasizes.
Participants can track their ranking on the Kaito platform. The more quality content they publish on X, the higher their position will be. Kaito leaderboards are continuously optimized, so there are no strict ranking rules. However, Mantle offers several recommendations:
- publish content regularly, but avoid spamming. Create valuable materials and discussions for the community;
- engage with other authors;
- draw inspiration from those at the top of the rankings, as well as from the winners of the first phase;
- join the Mantle community on X and Discord (Yap Club) to gain inspiration and useful examples from other participants.
Alongside the Yapperboard Challenge, the Mantle Yap Club program allows users to earn up to 800 MNT weekly: 500 tokens through raffles and 300 tokens for completing bounties and challenges. Additionally, participants can access bonuses from the Mantle ecosystem. To join the Yap Club, one must enter the project’s Discord channel.
Mantle notes that in the first phase of the Yapperboard Challenge, Yap Club members secured 36 out of 50 prize positions, collectively earning over 40,000 MNT.
Earlier, Mantle announced the launch of a crypto bank and the MI4 index fund with a budget of $400 million.
