
Marathon lifts Bitcoin reserves to 6,225 BTC
In July 2021, the U.S. mining company Marathon Digital Holdings mined 442.2 BTC, pushing its cryptocurrency reserves to 6,225.6 BTC.
At the end of the month, cash on hand was about $91.9 million. Together with the cryptocurrency, Marathon’s total liquidity stood at roughly $352.6 million.
Since the start of the year the company has received 19,401 ASIC miners Antminer S19 Pro from Bitmain. A further 4,287 S19 Pro units are in transit.
The company’s existing equipment fleet deployed at the Hardin, Montana facility, generates a hash rate of 2.09 EH/s.
