The programme is set to begin in spring 2023. The organisers intend to support the development of musicians, DJs and producers in the digital economy.
Participants are promised exclusive access to events, music releases, training in issuing their own non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and more.
The payments giant will also release a limited NFT collection, Mastercard Music Pass, which will give fans access to training alongside programme participants.
Earlier in December 2022, Polygon launched a Web3 platform for personalising NFT Debit Mastercard debit cards issued by the Hi fintech app.
