The blockchain platform Masterchain carried out its first DFA issue worth 15 billion rubles. ForkLog was told by company representatives.
The issuer was JSC Russian Railways, and the investor was VTB Factoring. The DFA term is 180 days. The rate is 8.45% per year.
With this issue, the total volume of DFA issues in Russia exceeded 19 billion rubles, of which deals worth 17 billion rubles were completed in 2023. Thus the Masterchain platform rose to first place in the volume of DFA issues among information-system operators.
“Masterchain is preparing DFA issues for at least 20 companies across various sectors and scales, working out schemes for cooperation with investment and agency platforms, and also provides future players with licenses to the information-system operator’s ready-made software,” said Ivan Operchuk, the company’s CEO.
In addition to Masterchain, licenses to issue DFAs in Russia are held by Atomyze, Lighthouse, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and Tokeon.
Earlier ForkLog reported that by mid-June the aggregate volume of DFAs issued in Russia stood at 4.6 billion rubles. At the same time, more than 45% of the total issuance was accounted for by the Atomyze platform — it issued tokens worth more than 2.1 billion rubles.
