The Russian blockchain platform Masterchain and the developer of comprehensive cybersecurity software solutions based on post-quantum encryption algorithms, QApp, have agreed on strategic cooperation. The signing of the agreement took place at the Finopolis forum.

The companies will develop a quantum-resistant blockchain with integrated QApp software solutions: PQLR SDK and Qtunnel. The product is aimed at leaders in finance and other sectors of the economy.

“The QApp software solutions implemented with quantum-resistant algorithms provide protection against attacks using both classical and quantum computers,” noted Anton Guglya, head of the company.

The parties also plan to conduct scientific and applied research and educational forums.

The signatories expect to roll out the first pilots with major industry players as early as 2023.

The FSB-certified blockchain platform Masterchain is designed for the transfer of digital values and information about them between participants. The project is being developed by LLC “Distributed Ledger Systems”.

Earlier the Russian government announced plans to use Masterchain in the area of public administration.
