At the end of April, ForkLog magazine prepared its traditional calendar of significant events for the upcoming month.

• May 7 — Ethereum developers will deploy the Pectra update on the mainnet (scheduled date).
• May 7 — Meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve on the key interest rate.
• May 8 — Sentencing of former Celsius head Alex Mashinsky.
• May 12 — Cryptocurrency task force roundtable by the SEC (tokenization).
• May 13 — Release of the U.S. Consumer Price Index and inflation data.
• May 22 — Bitcoin Pizza Day.
• May 27-29 — Bitcoin 2025 Vegas conference.
• May 30 — FTX liquidators will begin compensating claims of $50,000 and above.
