Meta regards the metaverse as the future of humanity. This follows from the presentation by the company’s chief executive at the Meta Connect 2022 conference.
“We believe that the future computing platform could be more social, more humane, than anything that has been created before,” said Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The virtual space offers the opportunity to work and play, but Zuckerberg believes that deploying working solutions will take time.
Earlier, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin is confident that existing corporate attempts to create a metaverse will lead nowhere.
