“MetaMask Staking allows users to interact directly with the Lido and Rocket Pool protocols,” the statement said.
The team says this will help users contribute to increasing the security and decentralisation of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
In November 2022, the wallet developers launched a beta version of the MetaMask Bridges tool for moving tokens between networks. The service is available in both mobile and desktop versions within a single window via Portfolio Dapp.
Later, the team added support for Arbitrum and Optimism for cross-chain swaps.
Back in December, ConsenSys announced that MetaMask users could buy cryptocurrency through the PayPal payment-app.
