Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin to Reach $13 Million
Michael Saylor, the founder of MicroStrategy, has forecasted that Bitcoin will rise to $13 million with a market capitalization of $280 trillion by 2045.
Saylor believes that the world’s total wealth is increasing due to innovation and inflation. Money will flow into Bitcoin from other assets, causing it to grow faster than the rest of the market:
“People will sell real estate in Central Africa to buy Bitcoin, sell Siberian gas or Argentine currency to buy Bitcoin. As people transfer their capital into this asset, it will grow faster than stocks, gold, and real estate.”
He reiterated his conclusions that over the next two decades, Bitcoin will gain an average of 29% annually. At this rate, by 2045, the coin will reach a price above $13 million and a market capitalization of $280 trillion.
The MicroStrategy founder expects that the price will be driven by institutional adoption of the first cryptocurrency, which will follow the implementation of regulations for the crypto market.
In his previous forecasts, he also expressed confidence in the creation of a national reserve of the first cryptocurrency in the United States, which would positively impact market prospects.
Earlier, Saylor presented a Bitcoin strategy to Microsoft’s board of directors, which would add $5 trillion to the company’s capitalization.
