MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor has turned his corporate e-mail into the Lightning Network address.
So @MicroStrategy converted my corporate email address into a #Lightning⚡️ address and people keep sending me 21 sats…? pic.twitter.com/FHde6RtA6N

Now any user can use the billionaire’s email — saylor@microstrategy.com — to send bitcoin.
After Saylor’s post on Twitter, users began sending him small deposits of 21 sats.
To create such a wallet, MicroStrategy used the Lightning Address protocol, which allows standard network addresses to be replaced with other Internet identifiers.
Saylor is regarded as a staunch Bitcoin advocate. His company periodically buys the leading cryptocurrency — in early April MicroStrategy purchased 1,045 BTC. In total the organisation has accumulated 140,000 BTC.
In late 2022 the company announced a range of Lightning Network-based solutions. The firm is primarily focused on security protocols and corporate marketing.
In February 2023, Saylor’s firm reported a quarterly loss of $249 million and raised $46.6 million.
