MicroStrategy, the analytics software provider, has added to its bitcoin holdings, purchasing 12,333 BTC. This was announced by founder Michael Saylor.

According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, between April 29 and June 27 the company bought bitcoin for $347 million at an average price of $28,136.
As of writing, MicroStrategy holds 152,333 BTC worth about $4.52 billion at an average price of $29,668 per bitcoin.
The previous investment in the flagship cryptocurrency occurred in April — the firm purchased 1,045 BTC for $29.3 million. Prior to that, the company invested $150 million in bitcoin in March.
At the time of writing, bitcoin is trading at around $30,300, according to CoinGecko.
In May, MicroStrategy reported quarterly profit of $461.2 million.
