MicroStrategy posts software-engineer vacancy for Lightning Network project

MicroStrategy has posted a vacancy for a software engineer in a project to build a SaaS-platform based on Layer 2 solutions for scaling the Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN).

According to the description, the software of the future will offer companies innovative solutions to cybersecurity challenges and open up new avenues for e-commerce.

The firm requires two years’ software development experience, a relevant degree, knowledge of algorithms and operating systems, and fluency in one or more programming languages. Experience in a Bitcoin Core development team or another cryptocurrency project would be advantageous.

In September 2022, former MicroStrategy head Michael Saylor announced that the company is pursuing several research projects based on LN.

Earlier, stepping down as CEO, he pledged to focus “on innovation and long-term corporate strategy” linked to Bitcoin.
