The future of humanity hinges on artificial intelligence, presenting two divergent scenarios: a dystopian dictatorship or a utopian society of universal benefit. This was discussed by Mikhail Chobanyan, founder of the Kuna exchange and entrepreneur, on the “Podcast Society” YouTube channel hosted by ForkLog.
The first scenario envisions AI taking over the world, akin to the films “Terminator” or “The Matrix.” The second scenario imagines a futuristic world where AI meets all basic human needs, freeing people to enjoy life.
Chobanyan suggests pursuing development within the framework of symbiocracy—a symbiosis among different species.
“Species number one is us, humans, the flesh and blood. Species two is artificial intelligence, which is likely to soon reach AGI and become a full-fledged mind. The third is our Earth, on which we are entirely dependent. […] Symbiocracy is the symbiosis of humans, artificial intelligence, and Mother Nature, particularly the noosphere,” he said.
Chobanyan believes that a positive future for humanity will unfold according to the aforementioned scenario, where the primary functions of human life, including those currently performed by the state, will be entrusted to artificial intelligence.
“I want us to live in a free society, in harmony with planet Earth, not in some dictatorship, destruction, chaos, wars, hunger, fear, humiliation, and other unpleasant things invented by humanity,” concluded the founder of Kuna.
Chobanyan also shared insights into his journey in the crypto industry, the closure of Kuna, the development of the crypto market in Ukraine, the ideology of cypherpunks, and state dictatorships.
