Mining farm in Murmansk region hits Rosseti for 7 million rubles

Specialists from Rosseti North-West identified an illegal mining farm in the Murmansk region, according to Rosseti’s Telegram channel.

The farm was discovered at a former greenhouse complex in the village of Tuloma. The check was prompted by a sharp rise in electricity consumption.

\n

Preliminary data indicate that losses from the miners’ activities amounted to about 7 million rubles.

\n

Equipment was seized, and case materials were forwarded to law enforcement authorities, the company said.

\n

As reported, Rosseti lost in total around 600 million rubles since 2017 due to illegal mining farms.
