Monad's Public Testnet Set to Launch on February 19

The development team behind the EVM-compatible L1 platform Monad will launch its public testnet on February 19.

The deployment of the closed testnet took place at the end of 2024. The preliminary mainnet launch is planned for 2025.

Monad has claimed a high network throughput of up to 10,000 TPS and a block processing time of one second. This performance is achieved through parallel execution of operations and the specially developed MonadDb database.

The network is fully compatible with EVM bytecode, allowing developers to easily migrate projects to the new platform.

Earlier, during the latest funding round, the team raised $225 million, with Paradigm as the main investor.
