Mt.Gox Transfers 24,052 BTC to New Wallet

The bankrupt exchange Mt.Gox has transferred 24,052 BTC ($2.47 billion) to an unknown address: “1N7jWm…q1u8Yp”, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.

This marks the first significant movement of the exchange’s assets since November 12, when the platform sent 2,500 BTC to two unknown addresses.

In November, Mt.Gox withdrew assets worth over $2 billion from its wallet in five transactions. The previous ones were recorded at the end of September.

Such transfers have previously preceded payouts through centralized exchanges, including Bitstamp and Kraken.
