
Mt. Gox Transfers $931 Million in Bitcoin
On March 11, the bankrupt exchange Mt. Gox transferred 11,501 BTC (~$905 million) to an unknown address “1Pazv…R9pYj”, according to Arkham Intelligence data.
An additional ~332 BTC (~$26.13 million) was sent to the platform’s cold wallet — “1Jbez”. Both amounts remain untouched.
Mt. Gox transferred another 332.059 BTC ($26.67 million) to an unknown address “1HUa2…FguZQ”.

The platform also sent small amounts of bitcoin to the Bitstamp exchange and another anonymous wallet “1K8E7…dJMYg”.
Addresses associated with Mt. Gox hold a total of 35,915 BTC valued at $2.89 billion.

At the time of writing, digital gold is trading at $80,304, with a daily price drop of 2.2%, according to CoinGecko.
In May 2024, the exchange began moving bitcoins for the first time in five years. At that time, transaction amounts exceeded $9 billion.
In January 2025, Mt. Gox transferred 166.5 BTC ($15.05 million) to “1Jbez”, and on March 6 — 11,834 BTC ($1.1 billion) to an unknown wallet.
Previously, the bitcoin exchange’s management postponed the compensation date from October 31, 2024, to October 31, 2025.
