1inch Launches Beta Testing for Fusion+ Cross-Chain Swaps

The 1inch team has announced the launch of the beta version of Fusion+, a solution enabling decentralized asset exchanges across different networks. Representatives of the DeFi project shared this information with ForkLog.

Fusion+ leverages the liquidity of the Web3 ecosystem to offer the best rates while ensuring users maintain self-custody of assets and secure transactions without third-party reliance.

The new cross-chain functionality is based on atomic swap technology and a major update to 1inch Fusion, activated at the end of 2022. This update allows users to place orders with set prices and time ranges without paying network fees, protecting them from potential MEV attacks.

“Both parties can exchange assets without needing mutual trust, as the swap is governed by smart contracts. If the transaction is not completed for any reason, the coins are safely returned to the original owner,” the developers explained.

A high level of security is ensured through verification—users are advised to keep the “Exchange” tab in the dapp open until the swap is fully verified.

Those wishing to test Fusion+ cross-chain swaps must manually enable them in the settings. The solution will soon be available in the 1inch Wallet as well.

Back in July, developers of the clicker game Notcoin entered into a partnership with 1inch and the Sequoia-backed attestation protocol Sign to create a startup accelerator for the Telegram and Telegram Open Network ecosystems.
