The DeFi project 1inch Network has agreed to collaborate with the first-ever animated NFT series Take My Muffin (TMM). According to ForkLog, representatives of the company said.
The project was produced by Pavel Muntian, one of Toonbox’s co-founders and the creator of the web series Mr. Freeman.
“The Take My Muffin plot largely intertwines with modern technologies, including decentralized finance (DeFi) and other blockchain solutions,” he noted.
The co-founder of 1inch Network, Anton Bukov, added that TMM was initially supported by the crypto community and became the first animated series with such a funding model. The project’s non-fungible token is available on the NFT platform Rarible.
Take My Muffin is a multi-episode animated series aimed at adult audiences. The show follows the misadventures of Korni, an amnesiac upright unicorn who discovers a superpower — coming up with brilliant startup ideas.
To regain memory, Korni teams up with a three-eyed cat-businessman named Rok, who has his own plans for the lead character. The plot unfolds in an ‘acid version of Silicon Valley,’ where robots coexist with dragons and walking potatoes.
The premiere of Take My Muffin is scheduled for the first half of 2022 on the TV channel 2×2 and the streaming service PREMIER. Three seasons of 10 episodes are planned.
Earlier, the processing service BitPay integrated into its wallet the liquidity-aggregation protocol from the 1inch Network’s decentralized exchanges.
As reported in August, the DeFi project opened a funding round valued at $2.25 billion.
