Stani Kulechov, the founder of the lending DeFi project Aave, announced that his team is developing a mobile wallet.

A commenter going by the handle 0xLuke suggested that integrating the new mobile wallet with smartphones, in the manner of Apple Pay and Google Pay, would drive a parabolic rise in the project’s performance metrics.

In response, Kulechov reminded that Aave has a license to operate as an electronic money institution in the United Kingdom.
Aave leads lending projects by TVL (about $14.39 billion). In addition to Ethereum, the platform supports networks Avalanche and Polygon.
Earlier in July, Aave announced the launch of an Ethereum-based Twitter alternative.
