Lawyers for Brandon Curtis, the developer of the decentralized exchange Radar Relay, sent a cease-and-desist letter to Nadar Al-Nadji, whom they consider the creator of the NFT marketplace BitClout.

According to lawyers, the platform sells tokens tied to the profiles of famous Twitter users without their consent. In the cease and desist letter, it states that Brandon Curtis forbids using his name without consent and does not wish to cooperate.
“To gain control over his name, Mr. Curtis would need to invest money or provide personal information. Even exchanging messages with the support team costs BitClout tokens,” — the document states.
Al-Nadji was urged to stop the “illegal use” of the developer’s name and photo.
Earlier, the media obtained a list of BitClout investors. Among them Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coinbase Ventures, Winklevoss Capital, Polychain and others.
Earlier, some members of the community suspected BitClout of a $170 million scam.
