Anonymous-Linked Hackers Breach VGTRK

Hackers affiliated with Anonymous said that NB65, the group linked to them, hacked VGTRK, the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and promised to publish the stolen data.

According to the hackers, they exfiltrated information from VGTRK totaling 870 GB.

The holding includes channels Rossiya-1, Rossiya-2, Rossiya 24, RTR-Planeta and others.

Earlier, Anonymous declared cyberwar on Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine.

Hackers breached Russian television channels and streaming services Wink and Ivi, broadcasting footage of the war in Ukraine. They subsequently said they had breached the Central Bank of Russia, publishing 28 GB of data allegedly belonging to the central bank.
