Another solo miner mined a Bitcoin block

On April 27, another solo miner with 60 TH/s power mined the block 733 739 in the Bitcoin blockchain. This was reported by CKPool administrator Con Kolivas.

According to Kolivas, the miner had connected to the pool at least a month earlier. He added that the chance of a miner with the specified power finding a new block each day is less than 1 in 20,000.

Net of the network fee, the miner’s reward amounted to 6.229 BTC — about $247,440 at the rate at the time of writing. He will give around 2% of the reward to CKPool.

In 2022, the pool’s clients among solo miners mined Bitcoin blocks at least four times.

Earlier, on January 11, a solo miner with a 126 TH/s rig mined block 718 124 in the blockchain.

Two days later, another user mined a Bitcoin block, though his rig was 116 TH/s.

On January 24, another CKPool client with 86 TH/s power mined block 720 175 in the blockchain.
