Anthony Pompliano: Bitcoin is the most disciplined central bank in the world

Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano noted the uniqueness of the first cryptocurrency and its ‘discipline’.

\n\”The thing is, Bitcoin is simply very disciplined. It is the most disciplined central bank in the world. It is not swayed by news or geopolitics,\” the crypto enthusiast explained.

According to Pompliano, the decentralized nature of digital gold would ensure its further adoption even if governments impose restrictions.

Among the key drivers of Bitcoin’s growth, the Morgan Creek Digital co-founder cited aggressive fiat printing and low interest rates. He argues that the current economic environment also supports renewed interest in the asset.

\n\”BlackRock is set to launch a Bitcoin-ETF. You can see that they are preparing for approval. […] I don’t think BlackRock would go through all this if they weren’t confident. There is a reputational risk. People know what they are doing. Most likely, the instrument will be approved,\” Pompliano added.

In September, Morgan Creek Digital co-founder expressed confidence that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would approve a spot Bitcoin ETF, and that this would bring ‘billions of dollars’ to the crypto industry.

On August 31, the SEC delayed the decision on several Bitcoin ETFs at least until mid-October. At the end of September, the regulator pushed back the consideration of applications to January 2024.

Earlier, Matrixport analysts forecast that digital gold would rise as a result of an ETF approval for Bitcoin to $42 000-56 000. CryptoQuant, meanwhile, projected values of $50 000-73 000.
