APT token climbs 15% after Elon Musk’s tweet

The Aptos blockchain token Aptos (APT) rose to a one-month high after Elon Musk’s Twitter post consisting of three acronyms.

According to CoinGecko, the cryptocurrency’s price at the peak reached $13.40, jumping 15.8%. At the time of writing APT was trading at $12.62.

In the billionaire’s tweet, he wrote: ‘AI APT OTT!’. The text initially puzzled many users, but crypto traders quickly spotted the link. After some time, the billionaire deleted the post.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez analyzed Aptos charts and concluded that the asset has potential for further growth.

Musk has not been the first to influence asset prices with his posts. In February, the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin rose above $0.087 on a series of tweets by the businessman.

In April, DOGE rose 25% after Twitter changed its logo to the coin’s symbol. However, after the blue bird returned, the asset fell 8.2%.
