Aptos climbs 13% after Microsoft partnership announcement
The layer-1 Aptos blockchain developers have signed a multiyear partnership with Microsoft to implement Web3-solutions.

In particular, the parties will work on developing an AI-powered chatbot, Aptos Assistant, built on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. It will help users learn the basics of Web3 and enable developers to create smart contracts and decentralized applications.
The partners will also explore innovative solutions at the intersection of AI and DeFi, including asset tokenization, payments and central bank digital currencies.
In addition, Microsoft will help bolster Aptos’s blockchain security by running validation nodes in the Azure cloud environment.
In the wake of the news, the native APT token rose 13% over 24 hours to $7.91. According to CoinGecko, at the time of writing its price stood at $7.30.
Earlier in April, Aptos developers launched the delegated staking function, making the process ‘more accessible and user-friendly’.
