
Argo Blockchain to list on Nasdaq
The mining company Argo Blockchain has filed an application with the SEC to list its American Depositary Shares (ADS) on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

The bookrunners for the issue are Jefferies and Barclays.
It will trade under the ticker ARBK.
The management will set the price range and the size of the ADS offering depending on market conditions.
As of writing, Argo Blockchain’s market capitalization is worth 477 million pounds ($650 million). Since the start of the year, the shares have risen 3.78 times, while Bitcoin has risen 69.8%.
During the first half of the year, the company mined 883 BTC. At that time, Argo Blockchain owned 1,268 BTC.
In June, Argo Blockchain secured a loan from Galaxy Digital for the construction of a mining pool in Texas with a capacity of 200 MW.
In March, the company acquired in that state a parcel of land covering an area of 185 football fields for the construction of a data centre. The facility will use power from renewable sources.
Earlier in the same month, Argo Blockchain signed a memorandum of understanding with blockchain company DMG Blockchain Solutions for the creation of a green mining pool.
