ARK Invest buys more Coinbase shares for about $3 million.

The flagship ARK Invest fund named Ark Innovation ETF (ARKF) приобрел 78,982 Coinbase shares for about $3 million.

The fund’s total position reached 5.7 million shares. At the December 9 close of $40.24, it was valued at about $229.37 million (about 1.4% of AUM).

Earlier Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong ruled out influence of the FTX collapse on the platform.

On December 8, the top executive said that in the light of the crypto winter revenues for the year would be halved relative to 2021.

Coinbase’s net loss in the third quarter of 2022 amounted to $545 million versus $1.1 billion in the previous period.

In October ARK Invest bought Coinbase shares. In November, the company’s funds spent another $21.4 million on these Coinbase holdings.
