Binance Announces Airdrops for BNB Holders

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has unveiled its HODLer Airdrops program for BNB holders, offering early access to tokens slated for listing on the platform.

“Binance is committed to fostering a healthy and sustainable market environment, always prioritizing the interests of users. We take a leading role in attracting small and medium-sized projects with strong fundamentals, a large circulating supply, and robust communities,” the announcement stated. 

To participate in the campaign, users must subscribe to the Simple Earn program for BNB. 

Participants must also have KYC verification and reside in an “eligible” jurisdiction. The exchange did not provide a specific list of countries. 

Binance announced the HODLer Airdrops in advance, allowing clients time to prepare for potential rewards, which will be distributed based on balance snapshots:

“Snapshots of user accounts and the overall pool will be taken several times at any moment each hour to obtain average metrics in Simple Earn products. Binance will apply historical balance snapshots at arbitrary periods after the announcement to calculate rewards.”

The company clarified that participation in HODLer Airdrops does not affect the standard benefits of holding BNB, such as the right to participate in Launchpool and Megadrop.

Currently, Binance is accepting applications from projects willing to participate in its new rewards program. 

Previously, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume promised to distribute 10.5 million ZK among 52,500 users amid “community concerns about coin distribution” in the ZKsync L2 network. 

In June, the BNB Chain ecosystem and Binance Labs launched the BNB Incubation Alliance, aiming to support early-stage Web3 projects.
