Binance Founder Changpeng Zhao Predicts Bitcoin Surge to $1 Million

The price of digital gold could reach $500,000 and even $1 million in the current market cycle, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) shared in an interview with Farokh Radio.

The businessman believes the total capitalization of the crypto market will exceed $5 trillion by 2025. CZ did not specify exact timelines for reaching these values.

This is not Zhao’s first prediction: in 2020, he forecasted Bitcoin’s rise to $100,000, which materialized in December 2024.

In February this year, he hinted at $1 million, ironically commenting on a “crash” from $1,001,000 to $985,000.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $94,252, with the crypto market capitalization at approximately $3 trillion.

In the interview, CZ described meme coins as “speculative noise,” predicting the collapse of 99.99% of them. He sees potential in the integration of blockchain with artificial intelligence and DeSci.

The Binance founder noted a sharp reversal in U.S. regulatory policy under Donald Trump’s administration:

“In 100 days, the situation changed 180 degrees.”

He also predicted the dominance of decentralized exchanges over centralized ones, calling them “different doors to the same world.”

Zhao ruled out returning to Binance and stated he would focus on mentorship. According to him, after four months in prison, his priorities have shifted to health and family.

In April, CZ became an advisor to the Kyrgyzstan government on cryptocurrency and blockchain issues.
