Binance Kazakhstan Secures Full License for Operations

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance Kazakhstan has obtained a full license DATF from the Astana Financial Services Authority. The announcement was made by the company’s CEO, Richard Teng.

The license permits Binance Kazakhstan to operate a platform for trading and exchanging cryptocurrencies, as well as to offer brokerage and custodian services.

The DATF license approval process involved several stages: an external financial audit, certification according to ISO standards, and compliance with numerous regulatory requirements.

The decision to grant the full license was preceded by regulatory approval.

“Very thankful for Kazakhstan’s forward-looking approach to financial innovation. Great milestone for crypto,” wrote Teng.

Kazakhstan has become the first country in Central Asia where Binance has obtained a license.

In May, Binance Kazakhstan received international ISO certifications in information security management and confidential information.

Earlier, the exchange and the national postal operator Kazpost signed a memorandum of understanding. Both parties expressed mutual interest in implementing innovative financial services in Kazakhstan.
