BIO Protocol to Launch on Solana and List on Binance

Participants of the BIO Protocol have initiated a proposal to expand the DeSci project into the Solana ecosystem.

The proposal includes:

• deployment of the BIO token contract on Solana;
• creation of cross-chain infrastructure for seamless token transfers;
• allocation of an additional 1% of funds from the ecosystem incentive fund to create a cross-chain liquidity pool.

The team described the development of DeSci on Solana as “inevitable.”

The initiative is expected to lay the foundation for products that open new opportunities for scientific advancement.

Earlier, the team announced the listing of BIO on Binance starting January 3.

Back in November, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin attended a DeSci entrepreneurs’ event in Thailand.
