
Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Grew by More than 20% in 2021.
Since the start of the year, the number of installed cryptocurrency ATMs has increased by 21.8%, according to data from Coin ATM Radar.
At the time of writing, the total stood at 16,974 devices, up from 13,928 on January 1, 2021.

New Bitcoin ATMs are now being installed at a rate of more than 36 per day.
The share of active versus decommissioned devices has risen notably in recent months worldwide.

The vast majority of operating devices are in the United States — 14,388 or 84.7% of the global total. Canada has 1,315 (7.7%) Bitcoin ATMs, more than in all of Europe.

The top 10 operators control more than half of active Bitcoin ATMs (60.3%). Among the leaders — CoinFlip, Bitcoin Depot and CoinCloud — their shares account for around 10% of the total.

In March, the cryptocurrency ATM operator CoinFlip added the ability to buy Dogecoin at 1,800 Bitcoin ATMs located in 46 U.S. states.
