Bitcoin exchange WhiteBIT announces integration with ‘Diia’

The cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT announced an integration with the Ukrainian government services portal ‘Diia’. ForkLog UA said this in a company press release.

Thanks to the integration, identity verification (KYC procedure) on WhiteBIT for Ukrainian users now takes less than a minute. To complete it, you need to press the appropriate button in the ‘Diia’ app and confirm the transmission of copies of digital documents.

“We are glad that the state is becoming a convenient service, and our cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation confirms this. Now our clients can complete the verification in two clicks,” said Vladimir Nosov, CEO of WhiteBIT.

The move became possible after the signing of the law ‘On Virtual Assets’, by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, regulating the turnover of cryptocurrencies within the country.

Earlier, the total amount of cryptocurrency donations to Ukrainian charitable funds exceeded $100 million.
