
Bitcoin mining difficulty hits a new all-time high
As a result of another recalculation mining difficulty for the first cryptocurrency, it rose by 5.48%. The metric reached a maximum of 57.12 T.

The average hash rate since the previous adjustment stood at 423.22 EH/s. The gap between blocks was 9.5 minutes.
According to Glassnode, on September 17 the smoothed 7-day moving average reached a maximum of 423.4 EH/s. After that it corrected to 422.2 EH/s.

According to Hashrate Index data, over the last 24 hours hashprice fell—from $66 per PH per day to $63.

ForkLog compiled a digest of mining companies’ monthly reports. In August Marathon Digital Holdings mined 1,072 BTC, and Argo Blockchain — 105 BTC.
