Bitcoin mining difficulty hits fresh all-time high again

As a result of another recalculation mining difficulty of the first cryptocurrency rose by 2.35%, hitting a new all-time high at 62.4 T.

The average network hash rate rose to near 450 EH/s for the first time. The interval between blocks averaged under 9.5 minutes.

According to Glassnode, on October 12 the smoothed 7-day moving average reached a peak of 456.9 EH/s. Since then it has corrected and, at the time of writing, stands at 445.4 EH/s.
