Bitget Launches Educational Initiative for Emerging Web3 Professionals
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has announced the launch of the Bitget Graduate Program, an initiative aimed at attracting and developing young talent in the blockchain and Web3 sectors. This was reported in a blog post by the trading platform.
The program is part of the educational project Blockchain4Youth and is targeted at graduates from leading universities. Participants will gain practical experience in operations, product management, marketing, risk management, compliance, and data handling.
Applications can be submitted on the program’s website until March 15, 2025. Selected candidates will receive job offers starting April 1, 2025. Bitget plans to hire around 30 graduates, offering them a structured program, interdisciplinary training, and mentorship from industry experts.
“At Bitget, we believe the future of Web3 lies with the new generation. The graduate program is designed to provide young professionals with a direct path into the blockchain industry. We aim to equip future leaders with the key skills and experience needed to create a decentralized world,” commented Bitget’s COO, Vugar Usi Zade.
Blockchain4Youth was launched in May 2023 in partnership with Argentine footballer Lionel Messi. The project has allocated $10 million to fund educational courses, hackathons, and scholarship programs.
By the end of 2024, Bitget had established collaborations with over 60 universities, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University College London, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Technological University of Argentina, National Taiwan University, and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. The company has conducted around 100 lectures, reaching over 13,000 students.
