The first 20 MW tranche will be commissioned by October.

Based on the stated parameters, the latest AntMiner S19 model with a hash rate of around 100 TH/s is expected. After the deployment of the entire fleet, the joint venture’s total compute power will reach 5.6 EH/s.

Bitmain will provide ASIC miners. Bit5ive will handle electricity, hosting services and project management. ISW Holdings will duplicate Bit5ive’s functions and provide financing.

\n\n

The agreement runs for five years. Total expenditure will amount to $62 million. ISW Holdings has already invested $6 million.

\n\n

“After concluding the partnership with Bitmain, we are on the cusp of becoming one of the leading players.”, commented Alonso Pirs, president of ISW Holdings.

\n\n

In August, HIVE Blockchain Technologies ordered 1,800 Antminer S19j Pro miners from Bitmain.

\n\n

Earlier, Marathon Digital Holdings purchased 30,000 similar devices.

\n\n

According to the latest data, the average daily hash rate reached 146 EH/s, which is below the May maximum of 180 EH/s.
