BitMart expands its user base by 23% and is named Investopedia’s top altcoin exchange.

BitMart published its 2022 annual report: the platform launched an NFT marketplace, added support for more than 600 new assets, expanded its user base by 23%, and was named the best platform for trading altcoins by Investopedia.

In 2022, BitMart’s futures market volume grew by 300% to $850 billion, with a daily high of $5.8 billion. The total spot market volume reached $550 billion with a daily high of $7 billion.

“Behind these numbers is a team of professionals who constantly work to improve the products. In the past year, we focused on performance and security of the exchange: we upgraded the platform’s infrastructure, modernised existing systems, and introduced new tools to protect users’ assets,” said BitMart CEO Sheldon Xia.

During the period under review, the crypto exchange added 667 new tokens to its listing and added over 900 trading pairs. In addition, the platform launched an NFT marketplace, whose users placed 71 collections (more than 23,000 NFTs).

In December 2022, Investopedia named BitMart the best platform for trading altcoins.

The exchange also received the Best Technology Innovation award from Hurun Summit and Most Trusted Cryptocurrency Trading Platform USA 2022 from International Business Magazine.

BitMart is a cryptocurrency exchange for spot and futures trading, supporting more than 1,000 cryptocurrencies and tokens. The platform has been operating since 2017 and serves more than 9 million users in 180 countries and regions.
