BitTorrent Chain cross-chain solution becomes compatible with Binance Smart Chain

TRON Foundation announced the integration of the Layer-2 cross-chain solution BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) with the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem.

Developers emphasised that users can now transfer assets between TRON and the Binance Smart Chain in a decentralised manner.

They also promised to integrate with the new solution DeFi-applications and NFT on the TRON network and other ’emerging blockchains’.

The launch of BTCC took place on October 30.

Earlier, TRON head Justin Sun noted that BTTC is EVM-compatible. This means Ethereum-based application developers will be able to migrate their projects to Layer 2.

He also emphasised that BitTorrent Chain will be fully decentralised. As in the main TRON network, Layer 2 will elect super representatives among the nodes.
