The round was led by partners from investment firms DST Global, Lightspeed Venture Partners and VY Capital. The funds raised will be used to develop new products.
Clarification: The DST Global fund did not participate in the deal, only its partners did.
“I’m incredibly proud of the team and optimistic about the future of Blockchain.com, our products and brand,” said the company’s CEO Peter Smith.
According to him, Blockchain.com’s products are used by more than 31 million users in over 200 countries. Over the past 12 months, their number has tripled.
Note: In February Blockchain.com attracted $120 million from Moore Strategic Ventures, Google Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and others.
