Brave browser’s monthly active users exceed 20 million

The number of monthly active users of the Brave browser rose 2.3x over the year, surpassing 20 million.

The company also reported that daily active users rose to 7 million as well.

“Over the past year, Brave has received a lot of positive feedback and is now the top browser on Google Play. Since September last year, when our iOS browser became the default option on Apple devices running iOS 14, the number of our daily active users has grown by 34%,” the Brave website says.

The number of content creators receiving payments in BAT tokens grew 3.2x — to 972,000 from 300,000 at the end of last year, according to the release.

Earlier this month, the Japanese exchange bitFlyer and Brave will present a cryptocurrency wallet.
